Legal notice and privacy

Last updated: 15/10/2026

1 Who we are

This notice applies to the Gestión Marina website (gestionmarina.es and its versions in other languages), the marina map (mapadepuertos.es), the AmarreYa app for sailors and the management software for the marinas and businesses that sign up.

2 Terms of use

Accessing and using the website, the map, the app and the software implies acceptance of these terms.

The map and the app can be used without registering. Users undertake to use them lawfully and not to attempt to copy their data on a massive scale or to damage the service.

Marina listings are compiled from public information: OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL licence), the marinas' own websites and public bodies. They may be incomplete or out of date: they are provided for guidance only and do not replace official nautical information or communication with the marina.

Any marina or business may ask us to correct its listing or remove it from the map by writing to info@gestionmarina.es or replying to any of our messages. We do so free of charge and as soon as possible.

The service may change over time. If fees are ever introduced, advance notice will be given and those already registered will retain special conditions; nothing will ever be charged without their permission.

3 Intellectual property and liability

The design, code and texts of the website, the map, the app and the software belong to the owner, except for third-party data and content, which retain their own licence. Their reproduction, distribution or modification without express authorisation is prohibited.

The owner accepts no liability for damage arising from the use of the information on the map or from technical interruptions of the service, although it works to keep it always available and up to date. The bookings, payments and services offered by each marina or business are their own responsibility: payment is made through their own payment terminal and the contract is between the sailor and the marina.

4 Privacy: what data we process and why

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR) and Ley Orgánica 3/2018 (LOPDGDD), the data controller is the owner indicated above. We process only the data that is necessary:

We keep data for as long as the relationship or account lasts and, thereafter, only for as long as required by law. We do not sell data or disclose it to third parties, except to the providers necessary to deliver the service (hosting and email on servers within the European Union) and where required by law.

You may request access to, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or portability of your data, or object to its processing, by writing to info@gestionmarina.es. If you believe your request has not been properly handled, you may lodge a complaint with the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (Spanish Data Protection Agency, aepd.es).

5 Cookies

We only use our own technical cookies and local storage, which are necessary for the session, language, filters and preferences you choose to work. We do not use analytics cookies or third-party advertising cookies; therefore the law does not require us to ask for your consent and we simply inform you.

If at any time we measure visits or the use of the map and the app, we will do so with our own tools, on our own servers and without sharing the data with anyone.

The map loads its images from OpenStreetMap servers, which receive the browser's IP address in order to serve them.

6 Applicable law

Spanish law applies. For any dispute, and unless the law provides otherwise, the courts of the owner's place of residence shall have jurisdiction.
